In 2016, as an early-stage startup, Echo partnered with FES during Engineering Validation Testing (EVT) to bring their first product to market. FES assembled a specialized team across the U.S. and Asia, including program managers, mechanical and manufacturing engineers, and sourcing specialists, to streamline development and optimize production. By leveraging FES’ DFX (Design for Cost, Manufacturing, and Function) expertise, Echo achieved faster time-to-market, cost efficiency, and scalability.

When the U.S. imposed significant tariffs on Chinese imports in 2018, FES swiftly transitioned Echo’s production from China to Thailand in 2019, enabling them to meet aggressive cost targets without compromising quality.

With FES’s strategic support, Echo successfully navigated complex manufacturing challenges, optimized their supply chain, and established a foundation for continued growth and industry leadership. Today, FES manufactures four distinct platform solutions for Echo.
